âïž Verdict: Best For Eco-Concious Parents
Pampers Pure is known for its plant-based materials which should ideally, help a baby with diaper irritation and rashes.
But I still see a lot of mixed feedback about its softness and even absorbent qualities, so this wouldnât be my first choice of diaper.
However, take note also that we are all different so you might have a different experience with Pampers Pure.

Has various available sizes
Cons

Mixed reviews on softness

Pampers Pure Diapers: Feature Review
SizesÂ
Pampers Pure has a wide variety of diaper sizes.
- Newborn: <10 lbs
- Size 1: 8-14 lbs
- Size 2: 12-18 lbs
- Size 3: 16-28 lbs
- Size 4: 22-37 lbs
- Size 5: 27+ lbs
- Size 6: 35+ lbs
- Size 7: 41 lbs
Iâve tested its Size 3 diapers and I find it bigger than the other popular diapers Iâve tried, except for Pampers Swaddlers.
Comfort
I find Pampers Pure not cottony soft.
Sure itâs soft and padded enough and itâs supposed to have this gentle liner enriched with shea butter.Â
Plus itâs marketed as made from premium, sustainable materials, and it even has certifications from Cotton Incorporated and Cotton Leads â organizations that certify a productâs softness.
But based on my testing, it doesnât hold a candle to Hello Belloâs softness and padding.

I also donât find the holes on its liner helping with its softness or its absorbency.
In my opinion, based on my test, the holes make the diaper a little bit uncomfortable.
Iâve also seen some mixed feedback from other parents about how rough and itchy Pampers Pure feels, that it sometimes causes a diaper rash.
Other parents, however, are perfectly fine with it.
They find Pampers Pure super soft and the only diaper that didnât cause any diaper irritation to their baby.
AbsorbencyÂ
Pampers Pure doesnât have the best absorption quality.
The supposedly plant-based liner and its absorbency feature that can âdeliver up to 12 hours of trusted leak protectionâ doesnât seem to reflect on my test video below.
Iâve also read mixed reviews about its absorbency.Â
Some parents say it has prevented diaper leaks, while others say it doesnât and has even caused a lot of diaper blowouts.
Security and Fit
Most parents find Pampers adequately flexible for babies of all shapes and sizes.
Based on my test, Pampers Pure doesnât have a super elastic stretch to it but itâs flexible enough, at least for a Size 3 diaper.
The back most especially is not as stretchy, as well as the leg opening.
Iâve tested the Size 3 diapers and their stretchiness is just enough for its size.
But again, itâs not super stretchy.
Pampers Pure also doesnât have the stickiest tab.
As you can see in my test video, itâs very easy to remove so I wonder how itâll hold up overnight, especially with a very active baby.
Design
It has a very simple, clean design so if youâre into minimalistic diapers, you might like Pampers Pure.
Price
Pampers Pure is expensive.
So itâs not recommended for those with a tight budget.

Pampers Pure Diapers Review: Takeaway
Pampers Pure is not my top choice for a gentle, absorbent, efficient diaper.
There are others that are softer and can absorb faster and better.
But it is known for its plant-based materials. Which can help a baby whoâs prone to diaper rashes.
Take note also that we are all different so you might have a different experience with Pampers Pure.
It has a lot of mixed feedback about its absorbency and even softness after all, so I highly advise getting a small pack first and testing it for a few days.Â
