Price
Little Snugglers is more expensive than the Snug and Dry.

Absorbency
Huggies Little Snugglers is much more absorbent than the Snug and Dry. There’s no doubt about it.
Just check my absorbency test video below.
The middle, the sides and I’m assuming, the back is also as absorbent, mainly because of its pocketed waistband. It’s like a “poop pocket catcher” and most of the time, I find it quite effective in containing the mess. And it definitely helps to prevent diaper blowouts.
I especially like how fast it absorbs the liquid, prevent diaper leakages from happening, as you can see in this video.
For some parents though, the pocketed waistband seems to only be efficient for poop.
But hey every babies different and so far, from what I can tell, Little Snugglers is better at absorbing large amounts of liquid.

The Little Snugglers has also a 12-hour Leak Lock system that absorbs wetness from your baby’s skin, keeping it dry and comfy.
Some parents though have complained about this feature, saying that it doesn’t really work overnight. But it does work for at least 6 hours or less.
Huggies Snug and Dry doesn’t have a pocketed waistband and I noticed it has some mixed reviews about its absorbency.
Half of the time, I find that it’s great for overnight use. It doesn’t leak even when baby is moving around.
And some parents share this sentiment.
But for some, it just doesn’t work as a night time diaper, especially if you have a baby that likes to sleep on their tummy.

And it can get annoying to keep changing diapers at night.
Security and Fit
Huggies Little Snugglers tends to fit all sizes and shapes of babies – chunky, tall, lean, etc.
It has extra-soft leg bands for a cozier, more elastic fit, as well as double grip strips, which keeps the diaper in place.
But it does tend to run a bit smaller, so around 8 months or so, I recommend testing another diaper.
Especially if you have already upsize and you still notice that your baby still gets diaper leaks and blowouts.
Huggies Snug and Dry doesn’t have the Double Grip Strips like the Little Snugglers but most parents have no issues with the way it fits their babies, even those with chunky, big thighs.
Most are happy that their little ones seemed comfortable moving around in the Snug and Dry.
Other parents have complained that Snug and Dry seems shorter and can leave diaper marks on their babies. Some also mentioned that they sometimes get a few stocks that have low-quality side tabs.
Personally though, based on my comparison video, I find them more or less the same size. There’s not much of a difference.
But Huggies Snug and Dry has a more stretchier side, than Little Snugglers.
And the Snug and Dry seems to have a stickier tab, compared to Little Snugglers.

Huggies Little Snugglers have more sizes available than Snug and Dry.
You can get it at Preemie size (1-5lb), Newborn size (6-9 lb), and up to Size 6 (35+ lb). It’s smaller sized-diapers even has an umbilical cord cutout.

There’s some design difference between Snug and Dry and Little Snugglers.
Huggies Little Snugglers diapers feature popular characters such as Winnie the Pooh while Snug and Dry have the cute Mickey Mouse design.

Reputable Diaper
Huggies is a known reputable brand (since 1968) and the Huggies Little Snugglers is even used in hospitals for preemies.
As of this writing, the Huggies Little Snugglers is the Top 2 best selling disposable diapers on a popular ecommerce site, while Huggies Snug and Dry is at the Top 9.
Safety
Both Huggies Snug and Dry vs Little Snugglers are hypoallergenic diapers and are safe to use for the most delicate, sensitive skin skin.
Both are fragrance-free, lotion-free, paraben-free, and free of elemental chlorine & natural rubber latex.
I’d say Huggies Little Snugglers is extra safe just because they have a diaper for premature infants (weighing less than 2kg).
If that’s not a sign of being a safe and reliable diaper then I don’t know what is. Kidding aside, it’s tested by dermatologists, pediatricians, and safety professionals so you can be assured of its safety.
Comfort
Both diapers are supposed to be fragrance-free.
But there are a few complaints from parents about both having some weird, chemical smell, especially when it gets wet.
Both have gentle liners though that helps to keep your baby’s skin dry and comfortable.
Snug and Dry claims to absorb wetness in seconds while Little Snugglers provides premium softness and breathability for the most sensitive of skin.
Although I’ve seen some complains about babies getting nappy rashes from both diapers, which I find unfortunate.
Some parents also said that Snug and Dry seems to be scratchy and of poorer quality compared to Little Snugglers.
Based on my test video though, Little Snugglers seems slightly less padded and a little less softer than Snug and Dry. I don’t know if the batch I got is just like that or if all Little Snugglers now have slightly less padding and softness but I find Snug and Dry softer and more padded, than Little Snugglers.
Wetness Indicator
Both the Huggies Snug and Dry vs Snugglers have a wetness indicator which is really helpful for parents – to let you know when it’s time for a diaper change.
