Now let’s dive in a little deeper about the difference between Huggies Overnites vs Huggies Little Snugglers.

Differences Between Huggies Overnites vs Huggies Little Snugglers

Sizes

Huggies Little Snugglers have sizes starting from Preemie (up to 6 lb.), size Newborn and up to size 6 (35+ lb).

While Huggies Overmites start at Size 3 (16-28 lb or 7-13 kg) up to Size 6 (>35lb or >18kg).

Which I find very weird.

Why can’t Huggies Overnites have the same available sizes as Little Snugglers?

Wouldn’t it be more helpful for parents to have an extra absorbent overnight diaper, at every stage?

But I guess that’s one of their monetization strategies.

Moving on.

Absorbency

Both diapers have more or less the same features for absorbency.

Both have the pocketed waistband “back poop catcher”, the 12-hour leak lock system, and the unique diaper liner for absorbing wetness and keeping dry.

But Huggies says their Overnites diaper has an extra absorbency protection, compared to their other diapers, making them suitable for nighttime use.

Which might be true for most parents.

Some said Huggies Overnites were amazing for overnight use, and it really made a huge difference for their babies who were heavy wetters.

Both diapers in general are actually some of the most reliable, best diapers for blowouts.

But they are not perfect as there are still some complaints from parents about both diapers causing leakages at night.

More so lately for the Overnites (as of this article’s publishing), as some parents said, it’s not the same diaper that they’ve been getting before.

Both diapers are hypoallergenic and are free from latex, phthalates, fragrances, and free from harsh ingredients – making them safe for sensitive skin.

They even use these diapers in hospitals, for preemies (Little Snugglers only) – so you bet they can be trusted!

Comfort

Both the Little Snugglers and Overnites are not marketed by Huggies as the softest diaper, but they are still comfy and snug for your little ones.

Both are soft and breathable and have a feature that absorbs moisture from your baby’s skin, to avoid irritation and diaper rashes.

There are some complaints though from parents about both diapers causing diaper rashes and redness (more so for the Little Snugglers).

But in general, both diapers are designed for comfort.

Security and Fit

Both diapers, in general, are pretty comfy for babies and extra secure, because of their Double Grip Strips that keep the tabs in place.
