Huggies Special Delivery vs Little Snugglers.: Differences
Let’s dive in a little deeper about the difference between Huggies Special Delivery vs Huggies Little Snugglers.
Sizes
Little Snugglers sizes start from Preemie up to Size 6 (35+ lbs/ 16kg).
While Special Delivery starts from Newborn up to Size 6.
Gentle Ingredients
Both are hypoallergenic diapers. They’re dermatologist tested and are free from harsh ingredients such as paraben, latex, fragrance, elemental chlorine, and more.
BUT here’s the difference. Special Delivery has some responsibly sourced, plant-based material that makes up 20% of the diaper by weight.
I’ve compared their ingredients and Special Delivery has 2 more – the Polyethylene Derived from Sugarcane and Viscose.
Polyethylene Derived from Sugarcane is used to make the diaper softer and Viscose makes the diaper more absorbent and also softer.
Security and Fit
The Huggies Little Snugglers have double grip strips for securing the diaper in place.
This feature also helps parents in knowing when to go up a diaper size.
Little Snugglers also have a flexible leg opening, accommodating babies of all shapes and sizes. A few parents said they’re the best diaper for their skinny baby. But a few said otherwise.
Huggies Special Deliver doesn’t have the double grip strips but it has soft, stretchy leg cuffs that help keep messes in.
Some parents though hate that Special Delivery diapers get puffy and sags too much when it’s wet.
A few even said that the material seems to be falling apart!
Price
Special Delivery is slightly more expensive than Little Snugglers, as of this publishing.
Remember though to do a diaper subscription to get a better deal.
Similarities of Huggies Special Delivery vs Huggies Little Snugglers
Absorbency
The Little Snugglers has that popular Back Pocketed-Waistband design which is a hit amongst parents.
This feature is like a back-poop catcher. It catches and keeps poops and leakages in the diaper!
Huggies Little Snugglers also comes with a GentleAbsorb® Liner feature (for Preemie up to Size 3 only) and 12-hour protection.
Special Delivery has the LinerFast-Wicking Liner which can help to keep your baby’s skin dry, thereby avoiding rashes.
It also has a back pocketed waistband but is not as big as Little Snugglers, according to some parents.
Most parents love both these diapers as they’ve helped in preventing leakages and poonamis.
Some parents still have some complaints though for both these diapers, saying they still get diaper leakages and even diaper blowouts at night.

Comfort
Both are comfortable, breathable diapers. Both have features that absorb wetness from your baby, keeping them dry and rash-free.
Little Snugglers also has that umbilical cord cutout for its Preemie diapers.
While Huggies claim that Special Delivery is their softest diaper. Which is true, for most parents.
Some find Special Delivery is softer than Pampers or Honest, while others say Hello Bello is still softer than Special Delivery.
Other parents noticed that Special Delivery doesn’t have that plastic feel to it, which seems gentler and softer to the touch.
Both though are not perfect diapers.
There are still some complaints from a few parents about both diapers causing rashes and redness to their babies.
A few parents even mentioned that both have an off-putting smell and both are supposed to be fragrance-free!
But for the most part, a lot of parents love both diapers. They said it’s the only thing that didn’t irritate their baby’s skin.
Wetness indicator
Both diapers have a wetness indicator, which is convenient.
So you can easily tell if your baby needs a diaper change, without having to pat or smell them!
