If you’ve stumbled in this little blog of mine, you’re probably curious as to how long it took for some successful mom blogs to start earning money and how much did they earn in their first few months. I know I was. Knowing something like that makes the dream of having a successful blog somewhat real and achievable. If they can do it, then we can do it too, right?!

These successful mom blogs all started at nothing – zero site visitors, zero followers, zero subscribers. Some even took a while to earn money from their blog! And most of them had to pay for blog courses, workshops, ebooks and such. And look where they are now!
It’s so inspiring to read successful mom blogs starting at almost nothing and are now earning serious dough! It’s a constant reminder that the journey will be tough, but it’s achievable as long we do our due diligence, we are smart about our strategies and time and we never quit.
Here are some successful mom blogs that are earning more than $1,000 per month:

So if you see notice some outdated information there, please do let me know and I’ll edit it. 🙂
Anyway, I eventually plan to monetize my blog but for now, I want to take it one step at a time. I’ve learned that the hard way in my first month of blogging.

This truly is inspiring. I’m not a mom blogger, I started 1 during my first week of blogging but left it by the way side as I didn’t feel it was for me or that I was being honest trying to relate to moms and not being one myself. Why did I create it then? Simply because the niche seemed to have the potential to make me make money.
But this also can be applied to any niche. There is the potential to make money in any niche with the right strategies and timing.
True and I salute you for being honest about your decision to leave blogging! If it’s not in your heart and if it feels more like a chore then it wouldn’t be enjoyable at all and it would be more like another 9-5 job. And agree also on the niche. Been learning a lot about affiliate marketing and niches and it just always goes back to the basics, knowing what’s your niche, knowing and genuinely helping your audience, that would lead one to success financially.
I enjoyed seeing how many some mom blogs started with and where they are now-ish.
Blogging is really hard. I’m 2 months in and about $1.40 earnings lol. But I’ve been doing a lot of educating myself during this time. I’ve come to learn it’s a lot about strategic marketing instead of just quantity. So finding your voice in the ocean on blogs does not come on its own.
Thanks for sharing ?
Same here, I’m now starting on my 3rd month and I know this is a long game so we just need to be patient and be smart about our activities. We will get there someday 🙂
I started with my mom blog about a year ago .. It’s all about providing resources for keeping kids healthy and happy .. although not a steady income I’m able to earn $50-$200 a month through paid guest posts, banner ads and affiliate marketing
Oh wow, that’s awesome! Hope it happens to me soon too! 🙂
Great post Julie! Thanks for including me. Keep up the good work. I hope you hit your income goals very soon!
Thank you so much! 🙂
