Pampers Cruisers vs Huggies Little Movers: Feature Comparison

Safety

Both are very reliable brands and have been around for quite some time.

Pampers Cruisers diapers are hypoallergenic diapers that are free of parabens, ethanol/ alcohol, latex, PVC, BPA, elemental chlorine, and more.

The Huggies Little Movers is also a hypoallergenic diaper and is also fragrance-free, lotion-free, paraben-free, and free of elemental chlorine & natural rubber latex.

As of this writing, Huggies Little Movers is at the top 4 bestselling disposable diapers on Amazon while Pampers Cruisers is the no. 5 spot.

Comfort

Both are well padded, soft diapers but based on my test video, I find Pampers Cruisers softer than Huggies.

Some parents though have noted a slight chemical smell from Pampers, especially when it gets just a little bit wet.

Huggies Little Movers for the most part, is as snug and as comfy as the Pampers Cruisers. Most parents find it great, if not better than the Pampers brand.

However, some parents complained that its recent design that seems seems thinner and cheaply made. Other parents have also mentioned that it’s causing nappy rashes and redness to their baby’s skin.

A few have also noticed that it has a little chemical smell, which is surprising because this is the first time I’m hearing that Huggies has a smell, at all.

So I hope this is just a fluke and one-time thing from Huggies Little Movers.

Wetness indicator

Both have a wetness indicator, which is a recently added feature in the Pampers Cruisers diapers.

Price

Both are reasonably priced but some parents mentioned that Huggies seems a little bit more expensive than Pampers.

Design

Both have very colorful designs that are a delight to look at.

But some parents have complained that the Huggies Little Movers Lion King design is of a lower quality diaper than the one with the Mickey Mouse design.

Some have mentioned that the diaper started leaking and their kids started having rashes with the Lion King design.

Some have also noted that the diaper seems thinner, compared to the Mickey Mouse design.

Sizes

Both the Pampers Cruisers vs Huggies Little Movers diapers’ sizes start at Size 3 (16-26lb) up to Size 7 (41+ lb).

Absorbency

Based on my test video below, Huggies Little Movers absorbs a little bit faster than Pampers Cruisers:

Both diapers are designed for babies on the go, promising to adapt to their baby’s movements while still locking in the mess. Both have also mixed reviews from parents about its absorbency feature.

For Pampers Cruisers, here are the most common mixed feedbacks:

  • Highly recommended as an overnight diaper
  • Evenly spreads the wetness throughout the diaper, avoiding buildups which might lead to leakages or diaper blowouts.
  • Has complains of leaking at night
  • Has complains of it sagging and drooping

Here are the most popular feedback from parents, for Huggies Little Movers:

  • Parents love that the diaper stays in place even if their babies are moving around while sleeping
  • The old Mickey Mouse design is better than the updated one, especially when it comes to comfort and absorbency
  • Lots of positive reviews of its absorbency

Security and Fit

Both diapers are built for babies who are older and more active.

I’d highly recomend though to go for a pull up diaper like Pampers Cruisers, if you have a baby that just won’t stay still during diaper changes.

Pull ups are easier to put on, than regular diapers.

Pampers Cruisers has a unique 3-way fit feature that provides more freedom of movement for your little one, while still preventing leakages.

There are some complaints about its side straps though, tearing off easily when changing, making the diaper practically useless.

Huggies Little Movers, on the other hand, features a 5-Way Fit System with a contoured shape. It makes for a very secure and flexible fit, eliminating gaps at the legs, preventing leaks.

It also has a SnugFit Waistband & Double Grip Strips to keep the diaper in place.

Parents have mentioned that these diapers are great for active toddlers. It’s stretchable enough to give them more freedom to move but not loose enough that everything will just fall out.

But some noted that the Velcro strips are a bit rough on their baby’s skin.

Pampers Cruisers vs Huggies Little Movers: Which Is Better?

Both diapers are popular reliable brands and have lots of positive reviews.

But honestly, both have also mixed reviews online, which makes it hard to identify which is the better diaper.

Huggies Little Movers seems like a better choice, as it absorbs better and also based on its standing on Amazon and its number of positive reviews.

I highly recommend though to buy a small pack first then test them.

Or if you belong to any parenting group online, ask if they have these unused brands and buy them. Better if you know a friend who can sell it to you or give it for free.
