While the Graco Sense2Snooze includes just its bassinet plus a mattress with cover. It does have built-in wheels, storage, and a canopy though.

But there’s some negative feedback about its wheels not rolling smoothly. While some parents wish the storage were a bit bigger.

Mobile App

The Graco Sense2Snooze doesn’t have a mobile app.

So that means, you can only control all the settings on the bassinet. So you have to be close to it, to reach out and adjust its settings when needed.

It won’t also notify you if your baby is still fussing and needs you to soothe them.

You will need to install a baby monitor or keep a speaker close for that, to be able to hear them.

The SNOO on the other hand, has a mobile app, which not only lets you adjust its motions and sound levels, but also lets you:

  • track your baby’s sleep
  • notifies you when your baby needs you
  • gives some sleeping advice
  • has the preemie mode and more!

Assembly

The SNOO is easier to assemble than the Graco Sense2Snooze.

With the SNOO, you basically just put in the legs, the power adapter, the socket, plug it in and you’re good to go!

With the Graco, you need to assemble the bassinet, the frame, the storage, canopy and well, you get the drift.

Rental

Graco Sense2Snooze doesn’t offer rental but SNOO does.

It’s cheaper than buying a new one but it’s not that cheap.

You still need to pay for security deposit, cleaning fee and return shipping fee.

You also can’t get any money back. Unlike when you buy a new SNOO,

With a new SNOO bassinet, you can resell it for a good price.

Price & Discounts

SNOO is so much more expensive than Graco Sense2Snooze.

You can buy 5 Graco bassinets with the money you’re going to spend on the SNOO!

SNOO does offer a 20% military discount but still, if you don’t have some money to burn for it, you might have a buyer’s regret when purchasing a SNOO.

Similarities of Sense2snooze vs Snoo Bassinet

Now let’s take a more detailed look at the similar features of the Graco Sense2Snooze vs Snoo Smart Bassinet.

Age & Weight Limit

Both can only be used for a few months or until your baby is starting to roll or pull themselves up in a sitting position.

Safety

Both the Graco Sense2Snooze and SNOO smart bassinet have breathable mesh walls, a firm flat mattress and both have also safety certifications.

Snoo is JPMA approved, passing ASTM F2194-16, FCC Part 15, CA 65 and other protective standards.

While all Graco products, including the Sense2Snooze bassinet, comply with ASTM International safety standards and are also JPMA certified.

SNOO though has one more safety factor and that is its organic sleep sacks.

These sleep sacks keep your little ones on their backs, preventing them from rolling, which can put them in risky positions.

Most parents find this particularly useful, which gives SNOO an added advantage over the other competitors.

But some physiotherapists find the sleep sacks too restricting.

Since it can limit your baby’s ability to move, it might lead to some developmental delays, such as delayed rolling and crawling, etc.

Auto Respond Feature

Both the SNOO and Graco Sense2Snooze can automatically soothe your baby via calming motions and gentle sounds.

The SNOO will wait for a few seconds then will rock gently and play some white noise to soothe your baby.

It will keep increasing its rocking and sound level to try and calm your little one.

It will auto-stop if your child is still crying and will notify you via the mobile app that your baby needs you.

The Graco Sense2Snooze also works the same way, but without the mobile app and any notifications.

It will start rocking and playing sounds to soothe your baby and will also auto-adjust its motions, speed, sound, and even vibration, to try and pacify your baby.

If your baby stops crying, it will turn off gradually after 10 minutes, and will only play some sounds for 8 hours.

But you need to set up a baby monitor or some speakers, so you can hear your baby fussing, just in case Graco’s soothing motions and sounds don’t comfort your baby.

The “Cry Detection Technology” of the Graco Sense2Snooze is not really fully utilized by some parents.

Because according to them, it’s not quick enough to respond to their baby.

Some of them said, their baby is almost inconsolable once the Cry Detection kicks in.

While some parents find the feature useful. Especially when they need to quickly do something (like go to the bathroom) and they can’t quickly soothe their baby.

Soothing Motions and Sounds

Both have soothing motions and sounds, albeit in different ways.

The SNOO has a swiveling motion and white sounds that can be adjusted up to 4 levels.

You can limit the motion level if you want, especially if you find it to be too rough for your preemie or newborn.

You can also set SNOO to rock and play sounds all night long.

Or if you’re transitioning your baby to the crib, you can set SNOO to the Weaning mode.

In the Weaning mode, SNOO still soothes your baby when they’re fussing. But it doesn’t swivel the whole night.

It will only do so for several minutes then it stops when your baby is calm.

The white noise will still play though all night, at a base level.

The Graco Sense2Snoooze on the other hand, has a rocking motion with 3 speeds and a vibration mode with 2 speeds.

It comes with various white sounds and songs to soothe your baby.

You can set the bassinet to keep on rocking for a limited time.

If no buttons are pressed, it will auto-stop after 8 hours.

You can also save the motion and sounds that best soothe your baby and use them over and over again. Although it can be quite glitchy, as it can sometimes go back to its factory settings.

Some parents find Graco’s rocking motion effective in calming their baby.

While others find it too strong and can actually startle their little ones, even waking them up.

Some even said the motion was too forceful, it can move their newborn down the bassinet!

Maintenance

You can only wipe or do spot cleaning of both the SNOO and Graco Sense2Snooze smart bassinet.

Customer Service

Both Graco and Snoo have some mixed reviews regarding their customer service.

Other parents say they’re helpful while some said they were not that responsive.

Warranty

Both these smart bassinets offer a 1 year-limited warranty period.

  • Alway do tummy time

Bassinets should only be used for sleeping purposes or when you need some hands-free time.

Remember to let your baby out of the bassinet, set them down on a playmat or play gym, and do some newborn age-appropriate activities, like tummy time, cause and effect activities and such.

  • Consider second hand

You can always get the SNOO or even the Graco Sense2snooze for a cheaper price at Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Craigslist, Goodbuy Gear and sometimes even on online forums.

Graco Sense2Snooze vs Snoo – Which One Should You Get?

If you have the money to burn and you’re planning to have more kids/ you have twins/you’re parenting on your own, the SNOO is definitely a better choice.

Especially when it concerns auto-soothing features and its safety sack swaddles.

Also because it has a great resale value!

Especially if you bought it during Black Fridays, Labor Day sale, etc.

It’s quite in demand in the second-hand marketplace so you can get back most of your money.

But if the budget is tight, you need the money now and you can’t stop thinking about all the other baby essentials you can buy, then maybe it’s not a good time to get a SNOO.

Don’t get something that might ruin your budget and can cause you more stress.

In this case, try out the Graco Sense2Snooze but make sure to check its return window.
