Graco Sense2Snooze Review Features

Specs

Dimensions: 19″ L x 26″ W x 41″ H

Weight: 29.251 pounds

The Graco Sense2Snooze is perfect for rooms with limited space and parents said it’s quite easy to move it around, cause it’s not that heavy and it has wheels.

But if you have a large, tall baby, they can easily outgrow this bassinet easily in 4 months or less.

Includes

Buying the Graco Sense2Snooze will get you the mattress with cover, storage, canopy, and wheels.

Some parents though said that its wheels don’t roll smoothly on the floor while some said they wished it had a bigger storage area.

And there are also some mixed reviews about how its bassinet mattresses are thin and hard.

While some said its mattress is quite thick, compared to other bassinets.

But the Graco bassinet does have dimmable lighting which is great to use during nighttime diaper changes or just to quickly check up on your baby.

Although some parents said the button lights are enough to see your baby at night.

And its canopy is reversible, so you don’t need to move the entire bassinet if you want to shield your baby from the sun!

The storage is also enough to carry small newborn essentials like diapers, wipes, etc.

Age & Weight Limit

The Graco Sense2Snooze has a ‎20 lbs/ 9 kg max weight recommendation but usually, parents can only use these for 4-5 months as their babies are starting to roll or pull themselves up independently at that age.

And it’s just not safe for their little ones to stay in the said tiny bassinet anymore.

Safety

The Graco Sense2Snooze bassinet has breathable mesh walls, a firm flat mattress, and safety certifications, making it a safe bassinet even for newborns.

All Graco products, including the Sense2Snooze, is a JPMA certified bassinet and also comply with ASTM International safety standards.

Auto Respond Feature

With its Cry Detection Technology, the Graco Sense2Snooze can automatically calm your baby using soothing motions and soft sounds.

It will begin to rock and play sounds and it will also automatically modify its motions, speed, sound, and even vibration.

If your baby stops crying, it will gradually turn off after 10 minutes and play only a few sounds for the following eight hours.

I’ve read some comments from parents that they don’t really use or fully use the “Cry Detection Technology ” of the Graco Sense2Snooze.

Because apparently, it’s just not quick enough to respond to their babies crying.

By the time Cry Detection kicks in, their babies are almost inconsolable, which makes the said technology useless.

Some also shared that they just find it easier to press the button to start and make it rock, instead of waiting for the Cry Detection to kick in.

But some said they find the feature quite useful.

Especially when they can’t quickly go and soothe their baby, because they’re in the bathroom or someone’s by the door.

Soothing Motions and Sounds

The Graco Sense2Snooze bassinet features a vibration mode with two settings in addition to a rocking motion with three speeds.

It also includes white noise, 10 sleepy songs, and 10 soothing sounds to calm your baby.

There are some mixed reviews about its sound quality though as some parents find it of poor quality while some are pretty much okay with it.

Anyway, you can save the soothing sounds and motions that best calms your baby and use them over and over again.

It can be quite glitchy though, as it can sometimes go back to its factory settings.

There’s also some mixed feedback about its rocking motion.

I’ve read some comments from parents saying it’s too strong and wakes their baby, which defeats the purpose of getting this soothing smart bassinet.

Some even said it can move their poor baby down the bassinet!

While others said, it’s effective in calming and lulling their baby to sleep.

You can also set a time restriction for the bassinet to continue rocking.

After eight hours if no buttons are pressed, it will shut off on its own.

Mobile App

Unfortunately, though, the Graco Sense2Snooze doesn’t have a mobile app.

This means you have to keep the bassinet close, manually turn it on and off, and control its settings.

Since it doesn’t have a mobile app, it can’t also warn you if your baby is still fussing.

So if your baby is in another room, you need to set up a baby monitor or baby speaker, so you can have your little one.

Assembly

It’s pretty easy to assemble the Graco Sense2Snooze bassinet.

It does have a lot to put together, like the storage, canopy, and frame. But all in all, it’s quite simple and easy, even some pregnant women can assemble it on their own!

Maintenance

You can only spot-cleaning the Graco Sense2Snooze smart bassinet.

You can’t really remove it easily and chuck its mesh walls and canopy and such in the washing machine.

Customer Service

Regarding the customer service of the Graco Bassinet, most customers find it not that great and unresponsive.

While some they’re quite helpful, especially when it comes to replacing the bassinet.

Warranty

Graco offers a 1 year limited warranty period on its bassinet.

Price

This bassinet doesn’t come cheap, as it will still cost you a few hundred bucks.

But between the Graco Sense2Snooze vs SNOO, of course, the former is just way cheaper!

FYI though, you can sell the SNOO for a great price, essentially getting most of your money back.
