Best Bassinet With Wheels That Doesn’t Suck!

The best bassinet with wheels is NOT a dime a dozen.

Sure you can find a lot of them online, but most of those have crappy wheels.

Or in general, are not even great bassinets at all.

Heck, even the most popular bassinet on this list has issues with its wheels!

(But I’m still including it as a lot of parents are recommending it.)

So looking for the best bedside bassinet with wheels is a little bit tricky.

You gotta do your due diligence, explore various expert platforms and parenting communities, ask around for opinions, and go through every listed bassinet with wheels out there and read through their reviews.

Which can take a while.

Luckily, I did that for you and more.

In this article, I did a deep dive and I managed to find a few bassinets that have the best wheels and are overall A-grade bassinets.

I’m also including decent bassinets with semi-decent wheels, that are still recommended by tons of parents.

Let’s start first with a common question amongst first-time parents with a newborn  – do you need a bassinet with wheels?

I hope you’ll love the products we recommend! Just a quick note: if you click on a product link below and decide to buy it, we may earn a small commission.

Do I Need A Bassinet On Wheels?

No, you don’t need a bassinet on wheels. It’s not a must-have and you can make do with a simple bassinet if you want.

But it’s just much more convenient to have a bedside bassinet that has wheels.

So you can easily roll it away from or towards your bed. Especially if you’re breastfeeding, pumping, and/or you’ve had a c-section.

It’s also easy to move a bassinet around the house, especially if you want your baby beside you (or your little one is clingy), and you need to do chores or work in another room.

Top Picks for Best Bassinet With Wheels

Most Popular Bedside Bassinet with Wheels: Mika Micky Bedside Sleeper

This is, surprisingly, the most recommended best bassinet with wheels for a lot of parents and even baby experts.

And I say that because, well, its wheels aren’t exactly that great.

It tends to get stuck a lot and accidentally gets locked even if you’re just trying to move it around.

I’ve also seen some complaints about its wheels leaving marks on hardwood floors.

Nevertheless, tons of parents love it because of its other stellar qualities. Like its affordable price, lots of space (especially if you have a tall, large baby), and its 7-height adjustable feature – which means that it can accommodate various bed heights – from short to tall beds!

Best Bassinet With Wheels and Storage: Arm’s Reach Clear-Vue Co-Sleeper Bedside Bassinet

This, in my humble opinion, is the best bassinet with wheels – even better than the Mika Micky!

It’s also arguably better than the latter as it has significantly fewer complaints about it being wobbly.

The Arm’s Reach Clear-Vue wheels just glide and work so much better than the Mika Micky bassinet.

Some parents can even move this bassinet from one room to another, with their newborn in it!

It’s the only bassinet in this list that has zero complaints about its wheels (so far as of this article’s publishing!). It’s also pretty sturdy, with massive storage underneath and some side pockets.

Plus it’s apparently a great bassinet for tall beds!

Check out also another Arm’s Reach Bassinet. It has a different aesthetic but has great wheels and is an overall amazing bassinet as well.

Best Bedside Bassinet With Wheels That Can Tilt: ANGELBLISS 3 in 1 Baby Bassinet

This is surprisingly a bedside bassinet with decent wheels.

Scratch that – it has great wheels, period!

I have yet to see a parent complain about how hard it is to maneuver around the house, or how the wheels lock on their own or how much of a hassle it is to roll on the carpet, wooden floor, etc.

I just see a lot of love for its wheels!

It also comes with an adjustable canopy and generous storage underneath for storing baby stuff like diapers, wet wipes, etc.

Most importantly, it’s a great bassinet for reflux babies, as you can put it in an inclined position and elevate your newborn’s head, allowing them to sleep comfortably.

You can also manually rock it to calm your baby.

Best Small Bassinet With Wheels That Can Go On Your Bed: Chicco Close to You 3-in-1 Bedside Bassinet

If you want a bassinet with an adjustable height level, that comes with soothing features with semi-decent wheels, check out this Chicco Close bedside bassinet.

This is another tall bassinet that I have yet to add to my list here but unfortunately, its wheels have mixed feedback as well.

Some parents love it as they can easily maneuver around this bassinet smoothly and quietly, even with their babies sleeping in it!

Others find the wheels troublesome, even going to the extent of changing them to castor wheels.

Nevertheless, parents like it because it comes with a vibration mode and music, to soothe your baby to sleep.

And it can go right on your bed too, even for a tall one, which is helpful especially if you’ve had a c-section/ breastfeeding.

Best Bassinet With Wheels and Removable Canopy: Dream On Me Lacy Portable 2-in-1 Bassinet & Cradle

The Dream on Me Lacy has mixed reviews about its wheels.

Some parents say it doesn’t roll smoothly.

Others say it was so easy for them to wheel the bassinet on their carpet/ wooden/ tile floors.

Nevertheless, with all its mixed feedback, a lot of parents still recommend it as it can be turned into a rocking cradle – so you can easily calm your babies and lull them to sleep.

It has some decent storage for small newborn essentials and it’s a JPMA-certified bassinet

Plus it has a canopy to keep mosquitoes away and prevent your cat from jumping in the bassinet!

Best Tall Bedside Bassinet with Wheels: besrey Bedside Bassinet

This has mixed reviews about its wheels as well, with parents saying that it works smoothly on their carpets.

While others are saying they needed to lift it at times and pull instead of rolling it.

Nevertheless, with all its wheel flaws, it’s still quite an impressive bassinet with all its features – a mosquito net, generous storage, collapsible side and get this – 9 adjustable height levels.

Which parents with tall beds love! Those with tall kids also like that it has a very spacious space, accommodating their tall, large babies.
